1854 Cornerstone Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Necessity, local Masons place this cornerstone time capsule filled with local newspapers, historic documents, a commemorative coin, and a picture of George Washington on the Great Meadows. Further construction on a larger monument never progressed because of lack of funds. |
